There are few tragedies more painful than this. All I can do is offer my deepest condolences. I hope that, if any good can come from this, it's that everyone---friends, family, and even total strangers like me---values life a lot more when they hear about this.
That is her gift to us. It may not be comforting in the face of such loss, but we should still be grateful.
